Nashville Jazz Workshop opens a new home |
The Nashville Jazz Workshop is about to host a Ribbon Cut for its new location on historic Buchanan Street.
For 20 years, the organization has sought to support jazz music in Nashville and on Saturday, July 24 at 10 a.m., it will start a new movement in this song at 1012 Buchanan.
“In their new location on historic Buchanan Street, the studio continues to provide world-class jazz education and performances in a supportive and creative environment for the community. Broaden their goal of offering jazz for all, ”reads a press release from the organization. “NJW is looking to seed the future of the Music City because ‘Jazz Lives Here Too.’”
During the pandemic, the organization offered online courses and virtual concerts internationally. Over the past few weeks, NJW has launched and partnered with various community entities to create a monthly jazz in the park with puppets at Hadley Park called Jazz AM, the citywide celebration of Juneteenth and a number of shows. and performance.
The “Jazz Cave” will continue to host concerts, art exhibitions and educational classes for children to adults.
