Brand new music, arts, theater and comedy festival announces headliners ahead of July event – 13.06.22
- Canary Wharf’s Festival14 will run from Thursday 21st and Sunday 24e July
- The four-day event will see live music, theatre, dance, comedy and children’s activities held across the estate
- Grandmaster Flash, Jocelyn Brown and House Gospel Choir announced as headliners

A brand new arts festival is coming to London this summer at Canary Wharf’s festival14 headlined by artists such as hip-hop pioneer Grandmaster Flash, disco powerhouse Jocelyn Brown, the electrifying House Gospel Choir and London Legend Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Orchestra, who are sure to take the Canada Square Park main stage. Will take place from Thursday 21st to sunday 24e In July, festival-goers will be spoiled for choice with a vast musical, theatrical, comedy, dance and family program.
Among the other headliners just announced, comedians Felicity Ward and Milton Jones will take the mic on stage at Westferry Circus, having both previously lined up at the Comedy Club in Canary Wharf.
Shakespeare from cycling theater group The HandleBards and Big Fish Little Fish rave family adds to the diverse running order, with most acts being free. The vast array of live music, theatre, dance and comedy will transform the quay’s many parks, plazas and open spaces hosting an astonishing range of artists and performers from around the world.
Music lovers should head to Canada Square Park where the event’s main stage will offer an unmissable program of free music. All tastes are catered for with music from new and emerging talent, world-class DJs, classical music, jazz and soul artists and a gospel choir.
The music will continue in Jubilee Park where some of the capital’s best street artists will perform live, as part of Canary Wharf’s partnership with Busk in London.
Those looking for theater will find that Westferry Circus has been transformed into an intimate open-air theater featuring Shakespearean plays and evening comedy – while cabaret, comedy and storytelling can be found at the Crossrail Place Roof Garden.
When it’s time to refuel, there will be a street food market open daily in Montgomery Square, offering a range of delicious food from around the world. Guests can also book into one of Canary Wharf’s many bars, restaurants and cafes, some of which will be offering specials over the festival weekend.
Most events are free on a first-come, first-served basis. Some events are chargeable, so festival-goers are encouraged to check out the full schedule in advance.
